Clogged Pores And Beard-Area Acne

Dead skin, oil, and bacteria can build up around the beard, jawline, and neck. Over time, those clogged pores can lead to repeated breakouts and rough texture.

Ingrown Hairs And Razor Bumps

When dead skin blocks the follicle, hairs can curl back under the skin instead of growing out normally. That often leads to painful razor bumps and irritation after shaving.

The 90-Day Routine

This challenge is all about consistency. You are not trying to attack your skin. You are trying to gently clear buildup, reduce trapped hairs, and help your skin settle over time.

Week 1–3

Skin Reset Phase

Goal: start clearing dead skin buildup, reduce clogged pores, and ease your skin into a routine without overdoing it.

Morning

Wash with warm water, apply face wash, then use the brush gently for 30–60 seconds.

Night

Wash again. Use the brush only 3–4 times per week at night, not every single night.

Your skin may still have bumps during this stage. That does not mean the routine is failing. The focus here is clearing buildup and starting consistent exfoliation.

Week 4–6

Clearing Phase

Goal: help prevent trapped hairs, support cleaner pores, and reduce the irritation that usually shows up after shaving.

Morning

Use your face wash daily. Use the brush every other morning for 30–60 seconds.

Night

Wash your skin and continue brushing 3–4 times per week at night.

Many people begin to notice smoother texture, fewer visible bumps, and less irritation during this phase.

Week 7–9

Improvement Phase

Goal: maintain the progress you have made and keep pores from getting blocked again.

Morning

Wash daily and use the brush every other day, staying gentle and consistent.

Night

Continue your face wash and use the brush 2–3 times per week at night.

By now your skin should start feeling calmer, smoother, and easier to manage after shaving.

Week 10–12

Maintenance Phase

Goal: keep the results going and make sure pores stay clear long term.

Morning

Use your face wash daily and brush 2–3 times per week.

Night

Wash your skin and keep the routine simple. Do not over-exfoliate just because your skin looks better.

Final 90-day goal: fewer razor bumps, clearer pores, smoother texture, and a more consistent grooming routine.

Track Your Progress

Before starting, take one clear photo of your acne, razor bumps, or clogged pores. Then take another at day 30, day 60, and day 90.

Day 1

Take a clear starting photo before you begin the challenge.

Day 30 & 60

Keep checking in with photos so you can measure actual progress.

Day 90

Compare your final result with your first photo and see the difference consistency makes.
